About Us
Monte Altore tradition and innovation.
The Monte Altore Farm and Winery is located in Zovon di Vo' in the province of Padua, surrounded by the spring greenery of the vineyards and framed by the splendid hills of the Euganean Hills, at an altitude of 140 meters above sea level in the protected area of the Parco-Colli Euganei.
The Landscape
The landscape you'll encounter will leave you breathless, immersing yourself in an unforgettable sea of colors that culminates with a panoramic view of the Po Valley.
THE PROPERTY
The property consists of a single 20-hectare farm, mainly divided into vineyards on terraced hillsides.
THE LAND
The soil is volcanic, calcareous and clayey, typical of the area, and the entire estate benefits from ample daily sun exposure, being located on the southern slope of the Euganean Hills.

The Vineyards
Care for the vineyards and simplicity in the transformation processes are the foundations of this company. Everything is done with professionalism, aiming for quality over quantity.
The vineyards are mainly planted using the "cappuccina" system, with vines spaced 1 meter apart, and yields per hectare averaging 50 to 80 quintals depending on the variety.
The Grapes Cultivated
The grapes grown on the estate are: Fior d'Arancio, Moscato, Marzemina, Serprina, Pinot, Tocai, Cabernet, and Merlot. All treatments are carried out using organic products, and the harvest is entirely by hand.
The company is part of the Colli Euganei DOC Consortium and in 2001 it became part of the Consortium of Agricultural Companies of Excellence, boasting the highest levels of requirements.
